Our Plaza Carriage Ride...

I believe I am a city girl at heart...

I love the hustle and bustle...

Crowds...

Festive window displays...

And of course the shopping...

So yesterday we drove to Kansas City and let the boys experience the County Club Plaza...

I was so excited to see they have added my very favorite clothing store...

And the festive trip wouldn't be complete without a carriage ride...

{Of course I could have done without the horse in front of us backing into our horse which meant we backed into a car!}

But in the end memories were made and who knows maybe a tradition began...



Decorating for Christmas ~ The Living Room...

This year Aidan Kale was a huge help decorating for Christmas...

I enjoyed and reveled in his excitement...

Our living room is silver and gold...

Here is our finished product...

{I used other great bloggers advice and used what I had}

This is half the tree...

The mantel was a different story...

For the last 8 years I have used glitter candles and they have slowly lost their shape and glitter...

This year the candles had to be retired...

And I had to be creative...

A stocking we don't use stuffed with plastic bags...

Gold and silver ornaments...

My Believe sign {day after Christmas purchase last year}...
