Emergency 911...

There are a lot of accidents at our house...

So it's a good thing we have plenty of EMERGENCY vehicles coming to the rescue...



Under The Big Top...

A few weeks ago we took the boys to Shrine Circus...

The boys had to have overpriced flimsy souveniers... 

And ride the ponies...

They were a little apprehensive when it came to riding the elephants...

Which was okay since we were out of cash...

Aidan had a wonderful time...

His favorite wasn't the gorgeous striped Tigers, amazing acrobats, or even the performing dogs...

He LOVED the clowns...

Kamden almost lasted half the show before he either wanted to be part of the show or run around...

Needless to say...

 Kam and I spent the rest of the evening at my parents who live just a few blocks away...

Price of the outing $80...

Memories...

Forever...

Aidan Will LOVE Me...

One of my awesome Mom friends emailed me an invitation to zulily...

An event website much like Hautelook and RueLaLa...

Except it is geared ONLY to Moms, Babies and Kids...

And if you know anything about my son...

He loves all things Woo Woo {fire trucks, police, ambulances}...

So this particular item is a necessity...

And apparently so are these as they just ended up in my shopping basket...

Of course Kam had to have a set too...

I can't wait to see them playing in the rain...

Bedroom Confessions...

Last week Kamden started running a fever...

And coughing so hard he threw up...

The doctor prescribed this...

Mommy prescribed this...

Yes, I know...

I am weak...

Pros and Cons of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred...

Pros...

Each workout is less than 30 minutes...

All you need is the DVD and hand weights {way cheaper than a gym membership}...

The moves are straight forward...

No fancy footwork I spend the entire time trying to figure out and coordinate...

Jillian isn't too annoying...

Just when I feel like I cannot do anymore...

We switch focus...

3 minutes of strength...

2 minutes of cardio...

1 minute abs...

If you master Level 1 and need more of a challenge {which I haven't}...

You move to Level 2 and then 3...
I find myself drinking more water...

It is very doable...

You burn between 180-200 calories on Level 1...

Cons...

It isn't easy...

You need to workout every single day...

Even when you are sore...

Motivation or frustration...

Either way...

I am at Level 1...

Day 3...

3 lb. weights...

Things I Have Learned As A Mom of Boys...

No matter what you are playing...

Hot Wheels...

Geo Trax...

Restaurant...

Candy Land...

Ultimately there will be a wrestling match...

If there is dirt...

They will find it...

No matter how cute the clothes...

They will NOT be excited...

If it has a siren...

It is the coolest thing EVER...
There is a reason all the 5T boy jeans at garage sales have holes in the knees...
Even if they haven't gone outside all day...
They still manage to get filthy...
Hugging and Mooching are forms of affection...
But so are hitting, pushing and body slamming...
Trash day is practically a holiday...
Frogs, bugs, snakes, spiders and other incredibly offensive species often find their way into my life...
And there is not one piece of furniture in my home that hasn't experienced some type of casualty...
I never knew I wanted boys...

NOW I can't imagine imagine my life any other way...

Aidan's Valentine Party...

Aidan's Valentine Party was rescheduled due to blizzard we had the week prior...

So last Wednesday our little heartbreaker sang songs...

Recited a poem...

And collected Valentines from all his classmates...

Can you tell he enjoys getting his picture taken?

Everyone signed Lightning McQueen during registration...

Towed cars...

Raced on McQueen Speedway...

Drank Fillmore's Organic Fuel...

And ate pizza at Flo's V8 Cafe...

At Ramon's faces were painted and tattoo's were applied...

Luigi's was a bean bag toss...

By far the favorite game...

Thanks Nama for making these awesome bean{rice} bags...

All the kiddos pulled strings to break the pinata...

Kam LOVED his cake...

Which made my back ache SO worth it...

And Baby Kam got all sorts of wonderful presents from family and friends...

Opening them with the help of big brother...

What a great way to celebrate a very special little boy..
